Annette is an experienced family lawyer, both in Victoria and Queensland, having practiced exclusively in Family Law since 1996. She became an Accredited Specialist in Victoria in 2005 and is also an accredited mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.

She has a wide variety of experience in all aspects of family law practice, including marital and defacto property settlements, parenting disputes, child support matters and surrogacy arrangements.

Annette is passionate about mediation and trying to resolve matters without the need for litigation, and focuses on pre-litigation negotiation to try to avoid court. Where court is necessary, Annette has significant experience in successfully litigating matters including complex property settlements, parenting disputes including relocation interstate and overseas, and same sex property litigation.

She has excellent drafting and communication skills, and has undertaken volunteer work at various women's legal services to provide legal services for all. She continues to volunteer at Fitzroy Legal Service in their family law clinic.

Annette enjoys travel, food and wine, following AFL and spending time with family and friends.
